Zimbabwean-born Melbourne based R&B songstress Thando is backed by a seven-piece band for a live experience you’ll never forget. Citing the music of Jill Scott as an influence, her music is described as a cosmic journey to love and fulfillment. Thando’s live set incorporates electronica elements while still respecting traditional soul and R&B with raw funk, heavy bass lines and a three-piece backing vocal ensemble with a whole lot of sass.
Lady Lash is one of Australia’s most intriguing artists. A proud Indigenous/Greek woman from Ceduna, on the west coast of South Australia, she spent her childhood days out on the Koonibba Mission listening to her mum’s cassette tapes and learning how to sing and rap by emulating what she heard.
