This year, we’re taking over Melbourne institution the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) for a week-long celebration of our city’s world-class music scene. The much-loved cultural institution is set to transform into an audio-visual playground hosting immersive performances from Detroit techno legend Jeff Mills, London producer Rival Consoles, a Bad Girls Disco with Renée Geyer, and a huge Opening Night party with the Heaps Gay crew.
We’re clearing out Gallery One and the LightWell and bringing in the rigging and backline to create a visually rich state-of-the-art performance space. Taking up residence in ACMI, it was only fitting that we’ve curated a line-up of artists, in collaboration with some of country’s most respected promoters, known for their multi-sensory, cinematic sets.
The Hub will be open from 6pm every night of MMW.
Come by and enjoy a drink in the LightWell before your show.
We’re also working with Night Noodle Market to bring you some of their favorite vendors to sate your appetite.
