Co-presented with Jewish Museum of Australia
Improvisational mavens Uncomfortable Science conduct a night of jazz-infused groove interpreting the catalogue of Amy Winehouse.
Lachlan Mitchell (Uncomfortable Science) will be joined by some of Melbourne’s hottest musicians including Barney McAll (Sia), Simon Mavin, and Paul Bender (Hiatus Kaiyote) and Nick Martyn, the band will take you on an interpretive trip through an unidentified Winehouse song. Songs will be revealed at the end, unless guessed first by savvy audience members and fans.
As part of Melbourne Music Week, this event coincides with the Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait exhibition, now showing at the Jewish Museum of Australia.
